While affirming the importance of realising policies aimed at national contributors, Vice President Thinh asked the An Giang provincial authorities to mobilise all available resource to improve the living standards of the contributors, and enhance coordination with the sectors concerned in the search for the remains of a martyrs. She also expressed her hope that the national contributors would uphold their traditional patriotism and encourage public awareness of following the Party’s guidelines and State’s laws and policies, while making further contributions to the province’s development. The same day, Vice President Thinh also hosted a reception for a delegation of retired female National Assembly deputies and retried female officers from Can Tho city. At the function, she briefed the guests on the country’s notable socio-economic achievements over recent years, stressing that the country’s overall success has been significantly contributed to by the Party committee, authorities and people of Can Tho city. She also called on the retired female NA deputies and officers to share their valuable experience with the local authorities in facilitating Can Tho’s development and to positively take part in social campaigns and activities launched by the local Party committee and Fatherland front committee.
