A representative from Lazada said on November 20 that the facility, covering 4,000 square meters at Hoa Cam industrial zone in Danang City, provides equipment for e-logistics systems and has the capacity to handle a maximum of 2,000 parcels per day. The warehouse is expected to help cut down on 12-24 hours of delivery time in the region’s localities and bring down delivery charges paid by customers in Danang City by 30%-50%. Fabian Wandt, country manager of Lazada E-logistics, said small and medium firms in central Vietnam selling their products on Lazada.vn will also benefit from the new warehouse, as the costs of shipping commodities across the nation could drop by 30%-50%.
