The information was released at a press conference in Hanoi on November 26. The first VYI Forum, themed ‘Tapping the power of young Vietnamese intellectuals in the 4.0 era’, will feature the participation of over 200 Vietnamese young intellectuals who are living, studying or working in 21 countries worldwide. At the forum, the delegates will discuss the vision, mission, role and capacity of Vietnamese young intellectuals, as well as propose mechanisms to attract and promote high-quality human resources and encourage young intellectuals to make more efforts to contribute to the country’s construction and development. On the occasion, the forum’s operation mechanism and a global network connecting Vietnamese intellectuals will be inaugurated, while the recommendations and theme of the 2019 forum will be announced. The 2018 Vietnam Start-up Youth Forum, themed ‘Finding a breakthrough solution for the innovative startups in Vietnam’, will take place on November 29 with the participation of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc. The event will review the situation of innovative start-ups in Vietnam over the past few years and compare it with the results of countries which have been successful in startups in order to find solutions.
