The number of foreign arrivals to Nha Trang increased by 141% against the same period last year whilst the number of Chinese tourists to the city rose by 156%. In addition to the Chinese visitors, Nha Trang is a popular destination for tourists from Japan, the Republic of Korea and Malaysia which have brought in between 10,000 and 50,000 people during the year so far. Since early this year, more than 333,000 Russian people have visited Nha Trang, up by more than 103% while visitors from traditional markets like the UK, France, Germany and the US reached around 8,000 to 16,000 people. The Khanh Hoa People’s Committee said the increasing number of foreign visitors to Nha Trang has boosted its socio-economic development and generated incomes for the provincial budget and local people. Thanks to favourable weather conditions, delicious food, beautiful islands and picturesque landscapes, the south central coastal city of Nha Trang offers idyllic conditions for many tourists.
