Son was accused of violating regulations on safety in mass gatherings, and must take responsibility for the seven deaths at the festival. Also, Bui Manh Duy, 19, a resident in Hanoi, was taken into police custody for allegedly soliciting others to illegally do drugs at the concert, reported Thanh Nien newspaper. Duy gathered a group of 15 young people to pool their money to purchase 10 ecstasy pills, along with marijuana, to use at the music festival. On September 17, investigators from the Hanoi Police prosecuted the case of illegally using drugs and inducing others to use drugs. Local police seized many types of suspected drugs at the festival. The case occurred at the Autumn Music Gala called, “Trip to the Moon,” as part of the Vietnam Electronic Weekend festival at the West Lake Water Park in Tay Ho District, the municipal police confirmed on September 17. The festival attracted a crowd of up to 5,000 people.
