Themed “Online tourism – Vietnam moves towards Industry 4.0”, the mart aims to accelerate the application of information and technology (IT) in the daily business activities of travel enterprises. So far, 679 enterprises from 45 provinces and cities from across the country, as well as 21 countries and territories from around the world, have registered to join the mart. The International Street Food Festival will be one of the highlights of the festival, introducing street food from Vietnam and other countries in the region. A ceremony will also be held to honour Vietnamese culinary artisans and chefs for their contributions. Notably, over 40,000 cheap tickets and approximately 15,000 promotional tours will be provided at VITM 2018.
