Hanoi (VNA) – US Vice President Mike Pence announcedon April 21 that 11 deals worth 10 billion USD were signed between American andIndonesian companies during his visit to Jakarta.
Of those, there is an agreement of Exxon Mobil selling liquefied natural gas toIndonesian state-owned energy company Pertamina. General Electric will providetechnology for Indonesian power plants, while Lockheed Martin will supply newweapons systems for F-16 fighter jets.
During a meeting in Jakarta with leaders of businesses, Vice PresidentPence said he and Indonesian President Joko Widodo discussed measures to helpUS firms better their access to the Indonesian market.
