(Cinet)- At the international photo contest with the theme “Children of the World” held in Singapore, Vietnam has won the collective Silver Award, three authors of Vietnam has made the top 11 authors were awarded in the individual category. The competition was held to commemorate 60 years of establishing the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) and The Photographic Society of Singapore (PSS) with the participation of photographic artists from over 40 countries with more than 40 photos showing the daily activities of children . Images of Indonesia won the gold medal, after Vietnam is Malaysia. About individual awards, three authors of Vietnam has made the top 11 authors were awarded: photo Ve Nuoc (Water come) by To Cong Vinh , Cham Con (Take Care for Daughter) by Nguyen Dinh Duc and Ngay Tho (Innocent) by Duy Anh were awarded silver medals in the individual category. Representation of Vietnam Embassy in Singapore was on behalf of the award-winning artists to receive the prize and sent to VietNam.The event was held with the intention of showing how children go about their lives in different parts of the world, and to boost UNESCO’s goal of increasing awareness about underprivileged children.
